The last weeks warmonger work in progress starting left to right.
1. Finally assembled multipart minis that have sat around for ages.
2.based up and started block painting a batch.
3. Batch painting continues.
4. assembled Tau path finders
I am too busy at the moment to make new personal works, so here are some older works in progress.
Finished corner. A handful about to join them as soon as it is sunny enough to spray varnish.
Oh? You paint minis? What are you working on at the moment?
Me- uhhh...
Before photographic reproduction was cheap, mini collectors had to mail off to get a catalogue that had helpful drawings such as these to make your purchase. This old man villager is the third pic on the right.
So all in all I say my therapist telling me to take a weekend off work and actually do some hobby stuff helped push my collection along a fair bit. Now just to focus in on small batches to finish them.
And my #warmongers hobby marathon weekend ends with the assembly of two #warhammer40k kits. The Tau I found in the second hand cabinet of my local game store for aud$25 bucks. The Magus was my xmas present to myself.
Went from right image to left image in one good solid afternoon session. I use contrast paints to lay in a lot of color fast, then go back over with layers to get to finished quality (right)
