Just finished this little cutie. Hootle is a perfect excuse for me to push myself out of my own comfort zone and train sewing more on the sewing machine, so expect a few more Hootles in the upcoming days. 🦉🪡🧵

This was a really fun project. #Hootle from the game Tales of Arise Commissioned by a dear friend of mine. This little guy stands just 10 cm tall. I'm looking forward to tweak the pattern a little, and then give it a go again. :3

I'll be working on a large round memorial kitty over the next few days. Super excited to see how it will turn out. So far I've only made smaller sized cats and large lions.

The last major piece I did was "Lesson 1: How to catch your fly". It focuses on some of the smaller critters that are always part of my "siesta art"; Rocky the Frog, Linus the Leech and Eddie the Turtle. #ArtsOfVibrancy

"Siesta in the jungle" was followed by "Pain in the, err... jungle", where Cornelius the Elephant got a central role. The unfortunate victim (aside from Cornelius himself) is Pete the Crocodile. #ArtsOfVibrancy

Many years ago I drew this picture as an entry for a small contest and named it "Siesta in the jungle". It made second place. Over the years I've added to it in the shape of additional jungle pictures, and by turning some of the characters into plushies. #ArtsOfVibrancy
