Was asked by @digital_arts to explore the 3D render revival for a little Tutorial, so I made this among other work, technical renders (as I call them) with high perspective and little cube bits, still strong 2002+ vibes.
Hilariously known artwork "Your Grandma Rocks This House", nonsensical but I love it. Two pieces I sent in for OFFF 2012 of which one got printed.
Type and other experiments, I will definitely explore more typography with unusual text again, did this before it became popular to use slang terms for typography pieces. ca. 2011
LUPE FIASCO, among a stronger lineup of my most known work, 42 and BLACK, as well as the mighty 3D collab with @smilingdemon "CONTACT"
By now you can get your 2nd cup of coffee or tea of choice, it's only a little excursion through what in total is by now probably short of 1.5k of individual artworks.
Of course, a collab with the one and only, the myth, the legend @diegolrodriguez another brother! Some more artsy things were created back then, but always huge fun. (Michelangelo reference ;) )
Some more work following, including the strange creature with Erik Schumacher aka KIRE https://t.co/csK2htowJP
A The Killers tribute, following a collab effort with the great https://t.co/Rs0Hwq9WLA and Re-Creation was a fantastic collab with Martin de Diego https://t.co/2V85GCpQ5L both lovely human beings! Send them some love!
Clean cut Illustrator shapes vs. intricate Brush work, the difference in both couldn't be bigger. Type still interested me so I joined one of the showusyourtype exhibitions with Hong Kong
Getting out of the comfort zone was a key to knowing how to get better, so I took the opportunity to remix one of Phil Dunne's https://t.co/lrRVnkIRXU works. As of then C4D was easy and fast to use so I quickly whipped up renders here and there.
