@TKOpresents Working on a comic about swordfighting and space travel called Neverender, all in a class black and white grainy style. Coming super super soon to Kickstarter! https://t.co/2lcJjz5lO0
It's apparently #portfolioday ! Here's a few pieces I did this year that I'm proud of!
@NateCosBOOM Hey Nate! Samples! More here: https://t.co/2lcJjyNKWs
Big catch! This was a fun warmup sketch I finished out. It's a bit different, but I really enjoy the motion! I've been having a lot of fun just building out complex geometry in scenes when I'm not working on the comic. #art #illustration #draw
I want to be less sacred with Neverender - I feel like I hold back a lot of the process, which spoilers wise seems like a great idea, except being an indie illustrator, there is no hype, and little to be ruined short of posting the whole book.
Here's a page from ish 1!
I'm hard at work on Neverender, and it's coming along nicely. I've got a long way to go before I can plan out print copies, but I'm making slow and steady progress.
Long live #comicart and #indiecomics!

@TKOpresents Hey TKO! I'm an artist who loves both sequential and promotional illustration and I've been loving TKO's output. Excited to see how you'll change the industry!

#comicsdna If I had to peg down the four most influential books to my style, it'd be these four. First I wanted to illustrate like Yas, then I wanted to mimic Pope's flowing brush lines, then Terada's brilliant linework. The Taschen Manga book exposed me to everything else.
And having the actress that played Mary Shelley also play Frankenstein's Bride felt kind of subversive - like she owned the story and also became a self insert of sorts. For my money, if you watch only one of these films, I highly recommend Bride of Frankenstein.
