No. 38: a personal one, this. It's Northampton Town legend Frank Large, drawn as a present for my dad. I'd honed my style a little bit more by this time, putting limited shading on the head, which I'd previously left unshaded.
No. 37, and something rather different. A customer wanted a drawing of her family in the 1960s. Some serious style going off here. Done a few similar pieces since.
No. 36: Manchester United legend Bryan "Captain Marvel" Robson, another one ordered as a present.
Nos. 33 & 34: remember the bloke from 20 & 21? Here he is again. He ordered these himself; the previous ones were ordered by his mum. He also features in the Retford FC team picture. Popular lad, our Picko.
No. 32: remember the kid from earlier in the black and blue (piece no. 28)? Here he is again.
No. 30: Retford FC celebrate winning the Central Midlands League. Another one for a regular customer, this was intended as a raffle prize at their presentation night but ended up being auctioned off for a fair wedge.
No. 28: one for someone who would become another regular customer. His lad crops up a few times later on...
Nos. 25 & 26: Worksop Town Under-9s and one of their players. Another couple that were ordered as presents.
