I've been listening to the (now defunct) Metal Gear Mondays podcast recently. Something interesting they pointed out is that Psycho Mantis appears in front of the elevator in MGS1 and MGSV. Might be a bit obvious, but I never picked up on it.

I once lost a "friend" (in hindsight, good riddance), a very nerdy guy who was at the bottom of the food chain like me, when I told him I liked Tales of the Abyss. And ironically, he and I initially bonded over Skyrim 🤦♂️
Finished a bit of write up on approaches to narrative design in MGSV and Death Stranding and how they may relate some of Kojima's early influences. I'll share it here soon.

I swear I got the first jewel here the first time I played this, but now I can't remember how. Maybe I'm just misremembering.
Pretty sure this is reference to some movie or something but idk exactly what. Also a gag in the MGS3 secret theater.
