So, that #dinosaur commission I started sketching the other day... ...I’m making progress. Long way to go. 😶🦖
Ok, #Caturday seems like an appropriate time to share this feline-inspired dragon that I’m currently working on. A cat-size predator, generally found near abandoned railway tracks in the north of Wales, it seeks out high perches to survey its territory.
2018 was Wales’ “Year of the Sea” so it seems like a good time to share a sea-faring dragon from the coasts of Snowdonia and Anglesey
One of our larger species, about the size of a domestic cat, they are seldom seen on land, preferring to hunt offshore amid the crashing surf.
Ok Twitter, sorry to talk about Christmas, but...
CHRISTMAS: if I get some cards printed up with this design (minus the logo) would any of you buy them? Not sure of exact cost yet, but would be normal Xmas card price, envelope included.
So... any takers? 🙂🐉
Some dragons are very hard to spot, others might easily be mistaken for other, more common species...
From weird, bioluminescent creature of the night, to fast ferocious predators, they are a varied bunch...
Psssst! A work-in-progress dragon from the new book!
Don’t tell anyone - top secret! 😉🐉
I’m purposely not sharing too much from the new book... ...but this is an early sketch of one of the smallest of the new dragons that will be appearing in it... ...probably. 😉🐉
