Time to share a new dragon with all you lovely twitter-folk I think.
So, here’s something very, very small, very shy and very nocturnal. If you like him and want know more, you’ll need to get yourself a copy of my new book which is available early next year. 🐉
For this week’s #FolkloreThursday theme of Winter, snow and ice: these tiny Welsh Dragons, known locally as Seren yr Eira, are frequent visitors to urban gardens. The scarcity of food in the harsh winter months overrides their natural fear of humans.
So, that #dinosaur commission I started sketching the other day... ...I’m making progress. Long way to go. 😶🦖
If you go down to the woods today...
...be careful where you tread.
This carnivorous Welsh dragon seldom hunts anything larger than a mouse, and prefers to avoid people. But it will defend itself if it feels threatened.
Ok, #Caturday seems like an appropriate time to share this feline-inspired dragon that I’m currently working on. A cat-size predator, generally found near abandoned railway tracks in the north of Wales, it seeks out high perches to survey its territory.
