One of the things I love about drawing adventuring parties is adding details that connect the characters: the affirming touches, the exchanged glances, the subtle gestures of a group of people who rutinely trust eachother with their lives.
Finally started @discoelysium and I'm being pleasantly surprised at how tragicomic it is. I think I'm gonna have a good time with it.
Gontijo is a *master* at using public domain art in his games. To the point that the adventure I made for his game—Into the Bronze—was an attempt to learn his craft.
And it looks cool (not Gontijo-level cool, but cool!) at first attempt. If I can do it, so can you! https://t.co/0n9JpIRaHm
THE MANIFESTATION OF NOCTIS, SEARCHING FOR HEAT AND MEMORIES TO FEED ON
Master of the Labyrinth, Noctis is one of the most devious and dangerous spirits in the Red Desert.
It is also a powerful ally for Wizards willing to SUMMON it. +

A CREW OF RED NOMADS HAILS YOU
Not all encounters in #NoctisLabyrinth are hostile.
Red Nomads are traders, guides and, in this case, scavengers. Accostumed to the rough desert life, they value teamwork, and treat travelers with respect and, more often than not, friendliness. +
Making the best of this #PortfolioDay by showing off some #NoctisLabyrinth art to promote... something... coming... real soon...
@momatoes Yes! And I totally ripped off the alien design for the googins in God Remains 🤣
One I personally love is the Burning Wheel framework *as distilled* by Mouse Guard and Torchbearer.
Crunchy and character-driven through narrative mechanics and player-set story milestones. With some solid group mechanics as well.
@Robyn5E @LeopoldTheJust Dope AF.
Maybe the only edition where art pieces like these were actually representative of the game.
As the Gods Demand
Disturbing art + themes of divinity and religion? These zines are basically stealing money off my pockets. I'm looking forward to see how I can apply this game-agnostic divine system to some of my games.
