iPad finally came! Getting reacquainted with Procreate after a lapse of a few years with my favorite guinea pig (who is not actually a pig.) Gonna be a learning curve getting used to this, but a challenge I’m very excited to tackle!

The next time you watch Tex Avery’s 1936 classic THE BLOW OUT (which you absolutely should, my facetiousness aside) may you too be enchanted by the thin layer of static that seems to only be present for Joe Dougherty’s deliveries as Porky!

(Also worth mentioning is that the glint FX seen in the SOUTHERN EXPOSURE clip is yet another signifier of his handiwork!)

@dj_berry11 YES Art Davis!!! Easily one of my favorite scenes in the short, and one of my favorite bits of his animation! He also did the scene with Daffy’s amazingly disgusting mouth in PORKY PIG’S FEAT—super great animator who could really push it to the extreme!

I saved my progress since I'm really happy with this one! Daffy can be super fickle and only cooperates with me if he's in the mood (which is in character), so he was being generous here. I drew the thumb on my laptop trackpad bc I didn't want to lose the idea HAHA
