This Rose. She's a gangster who deals in...illegal golf betting. She keeps arowanas and galapogos tortoises. She always wears gloves for Reasons tm. She polishes her golf clubs like sniper rifles.
Dream of Jupiter Soup [5/5]
My ex and I adopted Sitri two years ago on Halloween! I no longer live with her, but visit her a lot and our moments together motivated me out of a long dark creative inertia. This comic isn't ambitious, but it comes plain and honest from my heart.
I'm dressing up and tabling at Ottobar's Halloween Maker's Mart in Bmore this weekend! Come spoop with me 🎃
As a matter of fate or coincidence-- I'll have a lot of orange-toned art prints, stickers, washi tape, handmade mini journals and more ✨ @ottobuddy
#AnimalArtistsUnite ✨💖
Love this tag! These are mostly WIPs for block-printing in the future, but happy to join in and share amongst all the inspiring animal arts I’m seeing!
New dumpling owl drop.
Shape: friend
Hobby: long walks on the beach.
Thank you owls for your legs.
Thinking about cycles of transformation. #BroodX
(I may be scribbling an angsty cicada comic)
25) Yona of the Dawn by Mizuho Kusanagi
Not sure how to describe it but there's this classic 90s shoujo feel to Yona that somehow doesn't feel antiquated at all. Tightly woven political intrigue w/ a very compelling main cast of dragon-reincarnated-ppl and a squirrel.
24) Ookiku Furikabutte by Asa Higuchi
Ok I lied, another baseball comic. Oofuri is the reason I became an IRL baseball fan. The mangaka researched Koushien for a decade before drawing this, and imo this is one of the best sports manga and I desperately wish it to be localized.
21) Star Trip by @giseletheweaver
Queer space opera! I love how the Star-Trek-esque journey from planet to planet weaves a sweeping plot together but also focuses on the personal growth and relationship between its characters, balancing macro and micro.
