LRT is great because it reinforces my headcanon that Johnny is basically a combination of two CN goats.
Was thinking about an hypothetical Dr. Hibbert movelist for Simpsons Wrestling and this was just meant to be
Shoutouts to animated userbars or those sigs that owned like half the page real state and took forever to load
@MelvanaChainsII Characters with obscured eyes will never not be cool.
Bonus points if during a super or something you catch the slightest glimpse of their eyes
I love how we're seem to be having an obscure FG zeitgeist recently.
New content creators, forgotten franchises coming back with rereleases, modding and fan patches, new tech being found constantly, wikis and discords growing steadily, etc.
It's inspiring and I'm all for it 👏
Lots of Yugiposting lately, so I'll take my chance to rec "Duel Masters: Shadow of the Code" to anyone who hasn't played it and wants a fun TCG to mess around.
It has 600 cards, all monster cards have battle sprites, lots of deckbuilding challenges and it even has minigames.
Being in the niche FGC is funny cause you go:
"This is 'Super Ttong Bang-gwi' and it was released only on the North Korean appstore, here's a Gomul ToD"
then someone goes:
"Sadly that only works on that specific stage and corner. Sogdo has a divekick infinite. Here's a tierlist."
I was doing some digging on what's the first FG to have online play and here's what I've got so far:
-OMF 2097 seems to be the first (Oct'94)
-XBand as a close second (Nov'94)
As a fun side note, Violent Vengeance ('95) and Battle Arena Toshiden PC port ('96) had netplay too.
