My processes are not usually so arcane, but I'm always up for a creative challenge.

First off, @CJStewart7 and I had a bit of a look at previous @NatureMicrobiol covers....

My normal styles didn't really fit!
So straight off, we could see I needed to do things a bit differently - using vector graphics or photography.
