In 1991 I spent a week in Kerry, and every day I would walk across the road and look at the view for ages. When I returned home I painted it. This is Derrynane Bay, the bay of Kenmare River and beyond to Beara as I saw and painted it 30 yrs ago.
One evening seven years ago using my finger on a tablet with a very basic drawing program, I drew this doodle.
Something I may not have shown you on here. I can't even remember when I painted it - which is ironic as its called "Remembering". Is at least 13 years old, and was large for me. Sold to a good home in Limerick.
A painting of a beach from 8 yrs ago I never showed you in a post. Do you know where the beach is, or can you remember? I can, I'm just not saying. Don't phone, it's just for fun #art
Another old available original work is a miniature painting from that special series of animals done in 1999. "Camel" is on paper, 9 cm x 6.5 cm and costs €45 (+p&p)
The last painting I painted in my last studio as I packed up the boxes to leave for good. It was sold for charity. #MarRefMemories
There's not much I can do so as it's International #PandaDay here's another picture I drew with my finger.
"Seated Men" Another memory from the no-particular-reason for posting now stable, this was painted 11 yrs ago after watching two men chat at a racecourse. #eolaiarchive The painting subsequently was used for the cover of a fine book, and the original work went to a good home.
