On GI Joe Renegades, I took a 3rd on the totem pole position as a prop artist: I drew rocks, a watch, a grenade- never the "cool" stuff. All by design.
I drew trivial stuff, got paid the almost the same as the guys drawing the stuff for toys BUT I had time for my own work.

Sometimes I will sketch something into oblivionous irrelevancy.
PS- Notice that, right from the beginning, I drew in a perspective grid then proceeded to immediately not follow it.
