@TetZoo @MikeTaylor @ZSLWhipsnadeZoo Seeing that the animals commonly refered to as badgers are usually recovered as the 3 sucessive earlier diverging branches of Mustelidae, perhaps thinking of the other mustelids as weird, modified badgers has a bit of merit...🤔(from Law et al. 2018)
