A thread reminded me of these triptych back from 2017, as a bonus for @marginscomics's Dates 2 Kickstarter. They are really concept art for this comic idea - that emerged in 2016 but it's like it grew each time I re-read Yourcenar's "Hadrian's Memoirs".
Someday I'll make this.

@reimenayee @claystorks I will for sure! Right now I have a couple projects on other's writing lined up, but my future authorial aim is a story of Marguerite Yourcenar's 50-year long writing of Hadrian's Memoirs (and, through that, a parallel retelling of Hadrian's life of course).
