Thinking today about how this was the last time #Karadox was seen together as a couple in the comics, in August of 2017... and then in January of 2018, CW #Supergirl introduced #Brainiac5 with this specific plot and imagery... how very inch resting 🤔

Was thinking about an alternate reality where Brainy was always green, so I decided to mess around with an old fanart of mine. Imagine 3x10 exactly as it was, but Brainy looked like this instead... 👀 (#Karadox would most likely be canon now and that's the tea lol 🙃) #Supergirl

Someone on tumblr asked me to draw Kara, Brainy, and their daughter (originally from the Kingdom Come comics), and the next thing I knew, I had two sketch pages full of a CW version of XTC 😅 #Supergirl #Brainiac5 #Karadox

Various things this piece is referencing: The infamous Crisis cover (obviously), Kara carrying Brainy in the comics (Supergirl Annual #2, Last Stand of New Krypton, etc), and Clark carrying Brainy after he (seemingly) sacrifices himself in the Legion cartoon.

@cristoff_eli Yep! This shot is probably where you can see it best - even though his hand is out of focus, he's still so obviously reaching for Kara. And like you said, there was no logic in doing that; it was all just desperation and love. It doesn't get more OTP than that, honestly. #Karadox
