Much of the ep #10 scene where Dianna and Kihel exchange clothing and swap places was redrawn, reanimated, and expanded upon in the Turn A movie. Tomino was fond of the scene and viewed it as the first pivotal "act" of a theatrical play or performance.
The examination of Turn A Gundam's production history continues. My goal is to provide an accessible source of context and information.
Part II - Influences & Inspiration. The Takarazuka Revue, dance and theater, the Moon, Princess Kaguya, and more!

Turn A Gundam inspired designs by CHOCO, a mecha & character designer/illustrator best known for his work on the Xenosaga and Xenoblade games. These were published in the 2001 doujinshi "Hige Fix 2e with Respect for Syd Mead".
The Lancelot is such a sick mecha design. I'm very biased towards Akiman drafts & designs, but still. It brings a lot of individuality to the show (and emphasizes Suzaku's role as a knight, à la Sir Lancelot), and I love the way it maneuvers in battle.
Turn A Gundam #9 - "Corin Shouts, It's a Gundam!"
We're introduced to dangerous ex-convict Corin Nander, and Loran's identity as Moonrace is now out in the open. The word "Gundam" is said by a character for the first time.

For its anniversary, I scanned some pages from The Art of Final Fantasy IX. #FF9_21st
Low effort scans of the JP Turn A Gundam BD case covers. Illustrations are by Yoshihito Hishinuma (character modeler & animator) and Atsushi Shigeta (animator & promotional artist).
Turn A Gundam #8 - "Laura's Cow"
Tomino wasn't particularly fond of this episode, but it was well-received by staff members and industry people. It was also selected by fan poll to receive an audio commentary track for the Blu-ray release.
