Finished Dear Brother. Absolute master class in shoujo melodrama. I say this with little reservation: it's one of the best TV anime I've seen. Hats off to Ikeda and Dezaki.

I finally saw the "Be Strong!" scene in Dear Brother. I must admit I was not prepared for how emotional it'd make me. It's a powerful father-son bonding moment that encapsulates the positivity in the show's messaging: life isn't easy, but you can do it. Be strong.
