This, this is why I 🥰 glass so much. These photos are of the same piece, just finished, all taken just now, under different lighting. No photoshop. Incident, transmitted and back-lighting: halogen and sunlight. Never the same twice.

If you find yourself on thin ice, you might as well dance!
She’s finished, apart from her stand (final photo op in a couple of weeks). It takes around 5 hours to ‘finish’ one of these.

I am now accepting #commissions for “Requiem for a Queen”, PM/email
‘Requiem for the Queen’
Art, for me, is how I express the un-sayable (and non-scientific). This piece is my personal response to shadowy, torrential afternoon of September 8th. With the greatest respect for the @RoyalFamily of Queen Elizabeth II.

@krnlg Those eyes are awesome, aren’t they? And Jackdaw have so many subtly different varieties of black and grey… would be as much fun as I had with this Brent Goose…
A species that fascinates and frustrates me in equal measure https://t.co/EDyO8KIpZr
@SueColetta1 I haven’t yet- working my way steadily though British corvids though 😊
Just incidentally, my big #Puffins work ‘Kierkegaard’s Clowns’ is available, although I’m loving having it at home there may be someone out there who would love it as much as I do..?
