also, some people might consider murata mayu's art basic but it stands out as "unapologetically shoujo" to me with those big eyes & gratuitous use of sparkliness and flowers. maybe it's the ribon magazine effect but oh i adore it so much ever since nagareboshi lens era.

seems like akebi-chan is confirmed getting an anime adaptation by cloverworks. can't wait to see how they're going to recreate these painstakingly GRATUITOUS panels of characters doing the most seemingly mundane everyday thing into something engaging lol

when you think about how their relationship first started out, it's incredibly heartwarming to see them this close & comfortable with each other. amyuu-sensei back at it again portraying the most wholesome & healthy friendship 💞
