Getting a better idea of how to render it with flats. The priority is to make sure that Full Bird Tokoyami doesn’t blend into Tail Dark Shadow. So I’ll need to be mindful of that as I render.

Saki Flats + Colorized Overlay
Finally tried @clipstudiopaint's Colorize function, and I found that it makes for a good overlay layer to the flats as I would usually make them. Will definitely continue to experiment with it moving forward.
