Very little of the Daulphin is left from the mosaic of the Daulphin in the Villa des Mingauds displayed at the Museum of Valence, Drome, France. But the geometric pattern, simple and intricate at the same time, is the firt one I know of this type.

Work in progress. Model for a commission mosaic. Dyonisos & Ariadne. I still need to figure out the border. I am leaning for Ivy, which would perfectly fit Dyonisos.

Recreating the great Orpheus mosaic from Laon (France). Intermediate stages of main animal groups. Those images will be edited in Inkscape, & individual colors adjusted back in Gimp. 2 other groups will follow same process : Orpheus & Trees.
