@lowkeyalbert Gonna do this from Toby's perspective: Caring.
I don't even know how to describe Amelie's facial expression here. Maybe worry, mixed with sadness, and denial.
But I'm realizing just how many times I've already drawn her face like this. But hey, sun can't come till after the storm.

I was watching a video about actors expressing things clearly, yet subtly. In comics, emotions are often exaggerated. But you don't always have to "go big or go home."
Take baby Kenneth below. He's not the focus of the panel, so I think his subtle expression fits just fine.
@HiMyNameisTophs Hey, hope you're doing a little better by now.
Here's a comic panel I worked on recently.
@kinsppi A lot of muted green and blue lately.
Trying to go for that cloudy, countryside aesthetic.
@dynamicdumo My character, Mrs. MacFarlan, talks quite informal, and I imagine her with a Scottish accent.
And for all of my characters in Kindred Not, their speech is influenced by old fashioned sayings/words. As well as by English terms used in the UK.
@blueiris_099 Hi, first off, your art is so pretty!
My new year's resolution is to complete the next chapter of my webcomic, Kindred Not.
Here's a few visual development art pieces for it.
Flats VS Shading.
🌅Glowy lighting is addicting. Lol
Hope everyone’s having a good Saturday so far!
Question for artists that do sequential art:
✍🏻How many times do you have to draw a character to get handle on their proportions/design?
✍🏻Or do you prefer not to worry about it and let your characters' designs evolve?
#WritingCommunity how "forward" is your OC?
Caden leans toward telling the hard truth over saying what people want to hear. Very different from myself, cause I hate offending people.
