Drawing takes so long that I can never possibly illustrate all the stories my brain comes up with.
So instead I've just been having fun writing down little side-stories involving my OCs. Maybe one day I can edit them and share them as bonus content. :)
@Remix_manga0190 Here's two of my OCs, Kenneth and Caden.
Artists, who else has this dilemma when drawing:
✏️ just go for it
✏️OR do studies/sketches first
Like yes, it would help to practice first, but that takes extra time and effort. 😆 Of course in the long run, it would make things easier.
I feel like Rapunzel in Tangled: "🎵Just smell the grass, the dirt, just like I dreamed they'd be."
My last comic was all snow, so it's a nice change of pace to draw grass and dare I even say, dirt. 😄

I have a completed snowy adventure comic! And now I’m preparing my next comic.

Okay, insider ART SECRET: basing your original characters on celebrities.
Makes it easier to find lots of photo reference, keep the face consistent, draw it from multiple angles, & figure out hairstyles.

My beginner comic artist advice? Well, it's controversial, but...START SMALL.
My first comics were short, so I was able to finish them.
My art looks way different than my first comics. Lastly, I "failed fast" & know what mistakes to not repeat.
