A character who is only mentioned in the game through text, and only appears in a web-novel is now making a official appearance in the game. This proves that you can't keep a cute-moe-little-girl away from otaku-gamers for too long! They will want to taste her no matter what!
I didn't notice at first but one of the new heroines in #MarySkelter2 is the Little Mermaid, but in the 1st game, she was dead even before the story began. being only mentioned in a flashback. So, will #MarySkelter 2 be a prequel, or an retelling of the 1st?
I said before that the main story was good but not great, however, it really gets much better in the later half, and now I think it might be better than Stella Glow, despite the weaker presentation. It's really a shame this series and the developer are now dead!
I wish more SRPG did this, because in most cases, you don't feel like your choices affect the story of those SimRPGs all that much, especially on the final chapter, when it gets pretty clear who is the main love interest and the true rival and all that stuff...
At least, the endings were great! they really went an extra mile to turn the character you chose at the end into the second main character for the whole final chapter, putting he or she side-by-side with the protagonist and changing entire events before and after the final battle
I beat the final boss in Luminous Arc 3 today, and it was very unfair, frustrating and grinding wasn't quite enough. I feel exhausted and I wish I never had to do it again...but I did. That's what you get when you like more than 1 character in a SRPG...
Unfortunately, The Luminous Arc series is pretty much dead and forgotten, and seeing all this lost media really drives that point home. Especially considering that the most recent revival attempt was the awful Luminous Arc Infinite
All in all, Luminous Arc 3 has been a more enjoyable experience than Stella Glow, but I still didnt finish it yet. I'm still at chapter 16, and the previous owner of my cartridge stopped playing at chapter 20, so maybe some horrible shit happens there? I hope that's not the case!
I've been playing a bunch of Luminous Arc 3, and for those disappointed with Stella Glow who expected this last Luminous Arc to be the game they wanted all along, I can say that, IMO, Stella Glow is still a better game in general...
#RodjiuraBanchi seems to be a realistic action manga about a rich little girl who runs from her home and befriends a bunch of homeless dudes, and by showing respect and care for them, she gives them new motivation in life. "Apparently"...
