I've been binge-reading Higanjima horror manga. I love when vampires are treated as a virus that must be extinguished at all costs. Seeing human hunters become stronger and stronger to face them is exciting.
I've been playing a fan translation of this game the last few days and its so cool. A spiritual prequel to Link's Awakening. A nice blend of action RPG and platform gaming.
Vixen 357 is your typical tactical mecha game, but it does the basics so well! Great graphics, fun challenge flow and gets you straight to the action. It feels you're living inside a mecha war anime.
And here I am flirting with wargame counters again. So much easier to assemble and to store than minis. If well designed they could even set the tone of the game. Love those acrylic stands!
Crazy how Donald Duck vintage cartoons are full of guns, cigars and sometimes even some soft erotism. Crazy stuff. I thought about showing it to my kid, but after a few episodes I just... "let's see some Pocoyo, pal",
Over comics I'm reading Copra Round One and Sandman Mystery Theatre Book one. Both very different and both pretty good. The 1st psychedelic super hero stuff and the 2nd film noir detective stories.
This week I've bought Copra Round 1 by Michel Fiffe and it just arrived here. Very cool art and troika-esque approach to super heroes.
Yesterday I've started playing Sanitarium. Pretty weird stuff huh. So far, cool game! Also, today I'm gonna see Ghost of Sierra de Cobre for the first time!
