the MD port gives it a big audiovisual overhaul and I like that version a lot but it does have one huge flaw: it changed the final boss to some mesoamerican death god, instead of a floating xenomorph torso wielding a sword

btw, the Japanese Sunset Riders quotable du jour is 死にたくなければ走れ ("if you don't want to die, run!"), the little warning that pops up during the stampede—it's "RUN TO AVOID GETTING KILLED" in the overseas version, so not quite as fun
