This Cabin concept was first scribbles months ago by me, for the collab with @emmavolou_ . We then went with another direction (that I still absolutely adore). However, I still want to bring this Art Nouveau dream to life, so here we go 😌
I hope you like the result and can dive into the details just like I did when drawing this, house after house. 😊 One of my dream projects would be to create an insanely huge (neverending) scene in this style, and I think making "The Promise" is a good step in that direction. 6/7
These houses create a cozy atmosphere, while the scene is supposed to be rather unsettling. What is this hovering orb? What are these screens? Why are there no people except that single wanderer? I like the viewer to interpret the details and stories. So I started drawing! 5/7
When I've been asked to create a piece for @ArtInnovationG "Floating Pixels", I instantly felt challenged by making an isometric city scene in this super wide landscape ratio. Here's my first sketchbook scribbles. Yes, VERY rough 😉👨🎨 3/7
As most of you may know, I love working with isometry. 👀🏡 Several of my projects use this "perspective" (that is no real perspective), such as "Ether a Day" or "Curious Cabins". It allows me to make something look very detailed AND cute at the same time 😄 2/7
@Waxbones Absolutely bro! I just looked at this one today by chance, from times where this felt like a positive startup vibe!
If you're in Miami for Art Basel, watch out for the "Floating Pixels" exhibition curated by @ArtInnovationG ⛵👀
The auction starts at only 0.069, to give everyone a chance to place a bid. Each bidder will get an edition of the "Night Version" airdropped after the auction. 🙌
