Oh, #VisibleWomen's back and I have new art to share!

Hi! I'm Gwen and I'm a fantasy illustrator and art director working in tabletop RPGs and book covers, and I'm also 1/3 of @UnseelieStudios! I love painting stern women and spooky fey✨

This one began its life as a redo of my old "Lady in Red" illustration for the Uncaged Anthology, but it has definitely taken on a life of its own.

Ahhh my Beyond the Veil illustration is in Infected By Art volume 11!! What an honor 😭🥰

I love when artists share their old work, so I've been having a great time checking out the #SkillNotTalent tag and seeing how far everyone's come!

Baby me may not have had the art skill yet, but she found joy in creating anyway 💖

@Labillustration Hi Lauren and thanks for the art share! We met briefly back at GenCon and I spent an embarrassingly long time cooing over your gorgeous plant fashions -- I'm Gwen and I'm an ENNIE-winning illustrator (and also a huge Zelda fan!) I'd love to work with you in the future!

And that's really it! I had a great time painting this image, and it was fun to get back to my old "Dungeons & Disney" style. I'm really excited to see more official Lorcana art drops!

Related! Here's a super easy way to colorize your line art. First, copy your flat colors onto one layer and Gaussian Blur it. Then use a clipping mask to apply that layer to your line art layer, and after that, use a Multiply layer and clipping mask to darken the lines!
