This is the most open interpretation, but the color pattern is still intact even though the feet are talons and he has a big ol mane. Here, the white scale spots on the feet reflect the light tan patterns on his feet in the basic design.
This is essentially basic with additional fluff. There are 3 individual toes, some freckles, and the inner ear is tan rather than the light purple skin. The colors are also shifted, but they remain in the brown tones and have the same pattern
This keeps the color scheme the same but changes up the muzzle (real teeth, longer), tail and ear length (longer), shorter legs, individual toes, pupils, and gives him a purple whiskers and a nice dorsal mane. If I changed the colors, things would get a little unrecognizable
Basic is the absolute default, the others are examples of how the design can be shifted while retaining the things that keep Demetrius looking vaguely recognizable. I've done a bunch of different iterations on him but there's certain things that keep him, well, him!
Literally years after I made him the first time I'm making an actual "solid" ref on how his design open-ness works!
See thread for details and timelapse
Fossil squishables designs \o/ I've submitted spino and I'm waiting to hear back on him (hoping that the spines aren't too complicated)
I think diplocaulus will be my next one since I love it so much
Also some bonus dragons since I did a fossil one of those too~ https://t.co/6tXqhVzW9o
Feel free to correct me on the paleoflora but as you can see I just kinda tossed stuff in here. I love my little boomerang headed child!
Happy (belated) Pokemon day! Have a Mimikyu that I drew a few years back~
Pokemon has had such a huge influence on my life over the years-my very first video game was Pokemon Silver (thanks cousin Sam!) and I'm forever grateful that I've had it as a part of my life.
