Justice: Gwen Stacy. Justice holds a sword in one hand and the scales in the other. Truth, law, consequences of actions. Reversed: unfairness, a lack of accountability -- Gwen's death.

BANTER the back and forth between them is so fun and such a good way to show that, despite the protestations at this point in their relationship, they already like each other a lot. You don't fall into that kind of rhythm with just anybody.

not to reveal how much time I put into thinking about how to structure Spider-Man's quips but I DO think people go too light, too rambly, too often. "Don't kid yourselves! You guys have nothing to give!" is DEVASTATING.

thinking about ex-spider-man MC2 peter... love him. honestly one of the biggest joys of the character, I think, is how scary competent he is, whether or not he's been in the game recently.

"It sure feels great to be back for fun and games again" :,) one thing I really love about Peter is that Peter? REALLY loves a fight. A brawl without big stakes is genuinely FUN for him. He's very physical, he likes the dance.

The Empress: The spider. I struggled with picking this one because I think there are a lot of choices for The Empress in particular, but if she's the creator, the mother, the beginning of an idea before the realization, then she's the spider.

The Magician: Ezekiel. It's about the Mysteries, capital M. Talents, capabilities, and resources at your disposal. The Magician knows more about you than you know yourself: "Did the radiation enable the spider to give you these powers?"

This is why I can't take anyone who spells it Spiderman no hyphen seriously... it's not what Peter would want and he's been reminding people of it since 1964.
