Actually this is what an initial pitch often looks like. Enough to get a feeling across and make a decision but not enough to proxy a model yet.
More work stuff. At this point character pitches got loose so 3D proxies could be made and tested before we committed. Never got to do another pass on it. Early drone sketches as well. Oh, in this pitch sketch she's japanese/indian so that's why her hair is straight.
Map stuff. One of my favorite parts of designing a space is doing overview shots like this. Defining layouts and the relationship between nature and man's presence, and how these two forces affect each other. Also, how has time affected the space? Love these questions!
Work stuff. This kicked my butt more than I kicked it, sigh. It had been a year and half since I'd done a finished illustration and a few years since I'd done one in this style.
