I previously wrote the Winter Moon x Summoner's War collab episode, and also the Everywhere and Nowhere Halloween Special.
Both of these are 5 and 20ish panels respectively and are standalone works, which I completed in 1-2 hrs each max (including research time).
Spoiler alert: people HATED it because Cari had already set prior high standards - readership dropped off majorly, comments reflected this, and the tradeoff was at unacceptable levels.
So we ended up reverting to what we did before, and wrote another event to justify this.
Majorly gimp standards/production quality:
We *could* have made this choice at some point, which would make things look more in line with Originals work + is probably more sustainable. In fact, we even experimented with this; we wrote a reason in the story itself to justify it.
For any of you who don't know, I started my WT journey working on a long-form series called ExCo with Cari, on what is now called Canvas. Right off the bat, most people will notice that the art style he uses is NOT sustainable on a weekly basis without help - and I 100% agree!
