Why doesn´t anyone ever talk about glyptosaurs, those omnivorous, armored, Gila monster lookalikes? Some, like Helodermoides, reached up to 70 cm long, and they may have capable of autotomy as a defense mechanism... but maybe only once as their tail seemingly didn´t grow back?
A giant ground #sloth regrets entering this particular pond for a mud bath, finding itself under attack by hungry, 50 cm long leeches! Credit to @majingojira1 for the comment that inspired this doodle. Is there evidence of giant megafaunal leeches at all, tho?
What is this I'm hearing about a pachycephalosaur-like giraffid from the Miocene, apparently with even more adaptations to headbutting than bighorn sheep and the like, and why haven´t I seen any pictures of it breaking a predator's ribs? :B #Discokeryx

@BranArtworks @vasisamudradevi When I doodled this one I was told 10-11 m tops.
@ThetfordChase Nobody knows cause we don't have any skull material! One would assume fish, probably but just how specialized or opportunistic it was is anybody's guess. I even painted this one leaping to catch a bird. Wild speculation tho.
