Posted wrong version :B Here it is again, Arvernoceros is said to have been the cervid's attempt at producing a #giraffe: the largest species weighed up to 700 kg (not much to envy Megaloceros, other than the crown) and could browse at heights well beyond other deers reach!

My entry for the #Paleoween contest, since I probably won´t have time to make another :B Inspired by a study I about a cave in the Ozark mountains (called Bat Cave!) where dire wolves went to hunt the giant peccary #Platygonus! Imagine the sounds that echoed in that cave!
