Found my Great Grandfather William Palmer's papers from #WW1. He joined the #ScottishRifles in approx 1903.
Sadly he was discharged due to being no longer physically fit for war service in 1915

Nothing like waking up to views of the sea from the lodge veranda.

I miss this big lad. The best decision made was to adopt him. He hadn't been socialised so we spent 3 months getting him slowly introduced to our girls. Eventually it just clicked. Sadly all 3 are no longer w/us but boy they were a joy! Miss my babies so much! ❤️
