8. I'm honestly very proud of my art. Each year I can spot something I improved significantly on over the previous year and I find that encouraging.

Like in 2021 I'm really impressed with how my colour choices improved and how much more photographic my pictures looked

4. Lighting and Impressionistic Backgrounds, especially around horizons and water. I've gotten so much better at just letting the colours do the work without layers and blend modes, and I find it a very freeing way to paint

A lil thing for @Steelforgecanis as part of an art trade

I tried to capture the gorgeous and intimidating mechanical intricacy in their style, and while it's not quiiite there, there's definitely plenty of elegance in the attempt
