Altered Beast is on my top 10 "give this to an indie dev and see what they can come up with" properties.

EVERYONE wants Altered Beast to be good, and it's not.

But Sonic wasn't good for DECADES and indie developers turned that property into Sonic Mania, and it was really good!

For the second form, you get to be a dragon that has electric powers.

The boss takes maybe two seconds, if that, to beat with it.

Just fucking wow. Altered Beast fucking sucks.

The left is the US version. The right is the Japanese version. They're not IDENTICAL but it's not a major change.
