PUNISHER #1
Jason Aaron (W) Jesús Saiz & Paul Azaceta (A)
The major discussion around this comic is the co-opting of Frank's symbol by real world people, and how Frank will sport a different symbol here. Part of me is doubting the connection is that direct, but it might well be.
VENOM: LETHAL PROTECTOR #1 (OF 5)
David Michelinie (W) Ivan Fiorelli (A)
Well, this makes even more sense. Symbiote lovers are being very well fed as of late.
STRANGE #1
Jed MacKay (W) Marcelo Ferreira (A)
Listen. When @jedmackay writes a comic, I read that comic. Simple.
CARNAGE #1
Ram V (W) Francesco Manna (A)
With the Venom movies thrusting these characters into the public consciousness, and with the Cates Era of Venom comics wrapped up, it makes sense for @therightram to come along and redefine symbiotes with both a Venom AND a Carnage comic.
DEMON DAYS: BLOOD FEUD #1
PEACH MOMOKO (W/A)
This has been one of the most interesting things Marvel have been publishing lately. A true experimentation with their IP, released when it's ready. I hope it's successful and Marvel let another visionary loose in their sandbox.
@Marvel The POWER MAN AND IRON FIST SWEET CHRISTMAS ANNUAL from 2016 is one I always revisit. Luke and Danny teaming up with Daimon Helstrom and Jessica Drew to fight Krampus is an absolute blast! Plus the improvised balaclava mask for Iron Fist is brilliant.
#ThisWeekInMarvel OK to read
Alright everybody, let's give some attention to the solicitation for DC's upcoming MONKEY PRINCE book. That chest emblem is gorgeous, as is the book's logo.

Today delivers MARVEL VOICES: COMUNIDADES, an anthology of short stories celebrating Latin & Latinx characters and creators. White Tiger is featured on three of the covers (I bought the red one!) and the book features a story about the Young Lords and the 1969 Trash Offensive.
Oh hey! Issue #78.BEY, a Daughters Of The Dragon one-shot story, written by none-other than DOTD fan-club-president @jedmackay. I have so many good things to say about this issue. It serves as a great introduction to the characters. Plus it gives us Misty in a cheerleader outfit.
