SILK #1
Look, I love Silk. I also love the art of Miyazawa. There's no way I'm NOT reading this. 'Nuff said.
SHE HULK #1
Jen is back as her recognisable self. Good stuff. It's great to have a series with such strong talent to give something to the new fans the upcoming show will bring on board. After the tragic end of Runaways I'm also very glad to be able to buy another Rowell book.
DEVIL'S REIGN: VILLAINS FOR HIRE #1 (OF 3)
I'm intrigued by the fact this is titled "villains for hire" and not "thunderbolts". I wonder if friend-of-Iron-Fist-fans @claymcleod could comment on that at all? I'm very into the team line-up with this one. Plus that cover art rules.
Issue #76 and Patrick Gleason offers my second favourite hair styles for the girls. I am being very well served here. They're barely in this issue, however, only serving to give Ben his gadgets. I'm not commenting much on the story, since I'm no spider-aficionado, but it's fun!
Wong has proven herself incredibly well-suited to martial arts stories from her work on THE LEGEND OF SHANG-CHI and FUTURE FIGHT FIRSTS, and with AERO she's helped bring another Marvel manhua character to the West. Plus, her DOCTOR APHRA alone is enough to turn heads to this.
The first teaser image gives me "Iron Fist 2004" vibes, another story where Danny gave up on being Iron Fist for a while. I'm also reminded of the Chinese-first comic Sword Master, which is notable considering what appear to be shards of Lin Lie's sword alongside Danny's costume.
These are excellent choices. I'm a huge fan of the wildly different styles of Robert Brown (IRON FIST VOL. 2) and Afu Chan (THE IMMORTAL IRON FISTS) https://t.co/PbthRklBhE
