More thoughts to come on Ewing's whole run on Avengers after I've had time to stew on them.
Until then, here are the next three books I'll be reading through. But the question is, which first?
Alright, now that I've finished NEW AVENGERS (2015) I've read all of Victor Alvarez and Ava Ayala's stories. My opinion of both these characters has greatly improved!
The series left them both in interesting places which have not been picked up. Ewing wrote them as a great pair.
HEY HEY IT'S #NEWCOMICBOOKDAY
WHAT ARE YOU ALL READING, FOLKS?
Here are my top four picks!
🐉 Iron Fist #HeartOfTheDragon Issue 5
🔥 Fire Power Issue 11
🇬🇧 The Union Issue 5
🔮 Strange Academy Issue 10
As much as I do love, and have always loved, the humour of the other one, I reckon it's time for a #NewProfilePic.

OH HECK WADDUP IT'S YA BOI
I love this alternate, less superhero-style take on the Iron Fist costume! And the geometric chi visual is really interesting...
(this concept art is from an idea which would eventually become Ultimate Spider-Man, a cartoon I am very into) https://t.co/1dm5UVNiEe
Gotta say, this has to be my favourite She-Hulk design. The S on the chest, the H as a belt, it really works for me. Mayyybe find a way to make it work with the purple/white/purple vertical stripe look? Idk, I just love it.
Somebody needs to pick up the gauntlet @Al_Ewing threw down and get writing a "The Deadly Hands of Power Man and White Tiger" comic PRONTO
Marvel Legends Issue 1
A three-in-one UK reprint magazine featuring these three magnificent stories. This got me absolutely hooked. https://t.co/Y5lfNQM0Ea
It feels like it would have benefitted from being an ongoing, as some concepts (such as the Danny/Joy romance) feel like unnecessary details in a tight mystery thriller. Plus we get introduced to a new vigilante in Sa'ida Zebari aka Noir, a muslim scientist with darkforce powers.
