@ZiraFrost final step use an eraser to erase the hair around the face (do this on the OG hair color layer)

@ZiraFrost (Optional) I added a rim light to the very ends of the hair
@ZiraFrost i also do this thing where i add some light gray-purple onto the darkest parts of the hair. This is on a normal layer without any layer modes.
@ZiraFrost Then I do something i call a 'color map'. i pretty much use a super, super saturated red on an Overlay layer to splash some color around.
Then i chuck the opacity down until you can't see that much of it.
It adds a bit of variation and nuance in the hair.
@ZiraFrost I then basically do the same thing (but without the second add(glow) layer) to add blue highlights on the top
the second image is the color that I use on the add(glow) layer. This color changes quite a bit depending on the color of the hair you're shading.
