@ComicPerch Also, the Armor really doesn't seem to be helpful. I mean she held her own against that giant serpent thing with her OG outfit and fights like a boss, but some rando kicks here and she falls like a ton of bricks? I think she was better off with her OG Outfit.

@ComicPerch Also, annoying was the comic pulled a bait and switch, putting the more OG look for Taarna on the covers, but full body in the interiors. So needless to say, I was concerned it was going in that direction as sometimes it seems many comics will jump at any chance to "grow up".

@Exalted_Speed The sad part is, they tried to get "progressive" before and cover her up, but they kept her in her full glory for the covers. A total bait and switch.
The new run started OK, but issue 3 started showing a concerning direction and issue 5, well.. you know what happened.

@LordOfBaraddur0 Also, the Heavy Metal Twitter admin has nothing to be cocky about considering the previous run needed OG Tarna on the cover to sell the book then did a bait and switch.
I was hoping they learned after Marvel/Dynamite tried to "improve" their women of fantasy and failed.

After the previous run which they tried to improve Taarna, it was a breath of fresh air to see her go back to basics, even fleshed out the story from the movie.
Things went down hill issue 5, 1 paged killed the run for me.
