20 years later, I truly believe we live in the best era for video games ever, where there's room for all kinds of cool, unique games. But I hope that we never forget the games and devs that paved the way for that, because I never want to lose 2002 PS2 again.
Nothing sadder than realizing we could have had Dread Samus in possibly the final Smash Bros, but we're stuck with Other M Samus...
@MaxKriegerVG This reminds of a lot of old manuals at the time actually lol. I'll never forget "Mr. Hed"
Forever thinking about Pachimon, fake kaiju Japanese playing and trading cards from the 1970s.

@wes_ley_b @crt_bot2 Soooo different. I prefer the Sony but that's no surprise since it's my childhood set. Composite looks better on the Sony, but S-Video looks gorgeous on both. The Commodore is sharp as hell though. Here's composite on my Commodore (left) and the Sony (right)
@adribbleofink S-Video looks gorgeous on it, but I'm sorry to say that haven't been thrilled with composite. It's sharp, but introduces additional artifacts and weirdness that I've never seen on other sets. Here it is (left) compared with my consumer Trinitron (right).
Man I completely missed that legendary video game promo artist Mick McGinty passed away! What a sad loss, but what a great series of works he left behind. RIP
These were some of my favorites:
⭐SNES Games Under $10⭐
Hyperzone
Tiny Toon Adventures: Buster Busts Loose!
Super Tennis
Super Star Wars
This one broke my heart. SNES was always my favorite to collect for and most of these were $1-$2 once upon a time. Still great games though!
⭐Sega Genesis Games Under $10⭐
Virtua Fighter 2
Subterranea
Sonic 2
Jurassic Park
Sega Genesis is another console that remains surprisingly affordable. Things definitely spiked in 2020 like everything else, but not to the degree of a lot of other consoles.
