@brokenglasseye @PastGlasgow Hill and Adamson's photographed only Edinburgh and east coast (unfortunately) from 1845. Annan appears about the same time as H. Macfarlane and A.R. Mac Williams - early 1860s. George Washington Wilson's views of the city mid 1860s. (one by each)

Coloman, saint and martyr; Scottish pilgrim, who passed through Lower Austria on his journey to Jerusalem was charged with being a spy and hung at Stockerau, near Vienna. His body, later taken to Melk, supposedly wrought miracles.
