One of my favourite discoveries of Ghibli fandom is just how much love for Colonel Muska from CASTLE IN THE SKY there is.

I'd love to know if anyone from FUTURAMA had seen CASTLE IN THE SKY when creating the character of Mom, or if her commonly used name, style, militant nature, three obedient sons and castle in the sky was coincidental.
