@officialeddiep I used to think so.
They arent forwarding production design into new areas and they pandering to violent 12 year olds a little too often for my taste.
It's all a bit messy. I hope they can learn from Clone Wars and the Mandalorian.
It's not about having 1000 ships shooting.
@Bubba_GeekHero I would disagree. Comics like all media do objectify people. Sometimes men, mostly women.
I suppose I've answered this else where today and covered how there is more then one type of athletic body type.
@Bubba_GeekHero This isint to say comics cant be sexy or cheese cake. CG'rs seem to hate Gail Simone but she makes this exact arguement for sexy comics.
The people who criticise this just dont want the vast majority of women in comics to be built like the origional she-ra cast.
@Bubba_GeekHero People knew that racist attitudes and under representation was a problem in the medium but didnt know HOW to fix it.
Including more non-white creative and editorial teams and supporting their voices is how you avoid that and get better charicters.
