Some book pals I drew for a friend.

One of the books I’m working on has a scene that takes place at a ghost party. Ghost Cat is one of the spirits in attendance. She lived out her nine lives and then decided to stick around because she enjoyed messing with humans too much to leave.

The other day I learned that the Hunger Heroes are stuck in a “maritime parking lot” and that their arrival will be delayed two weeks. New release date: November 9! I’m a bit bummed—but mostly enjoying imagining my superheroic taco ingredients having adventures on the high seas!

It’s starting to feel like fall! I’m excited. My mood is always a little bit better during these months. The colors, the crisper temperatures, the reliable excuses to eat apple cider donuts and drink hot chocolate — it’s just all so lovely.
